he learns the shadow multiplier jitsu thing in the first episode. the only other trick i saw was the sexy jitsu he pulled off cause he was a smart ass. and then, in part two, the harem sexy jitsu. that one cracked me up. and then the old guy is like "such a powerful move, could probalby take me out". It was nose bleed city and i couldnt stop laughing.

They're gonna do another repeat of eps 1 & 2 at 7 & 7:30 and then at 9 ep 3 will debut. They're also showing the ones they had on yesterday again tonite for those that missed it yesterday. 10pm they'll show them. (Note: these are Eastern Stadard times)
IMO they kept it pretty close to the original. However, there are a few differences for the sake of audience and cultural appeal. But, all in all it was decent and I like the way they kept the original background music throughout the show. Hopefully this'll turn out to be as big a hit as everyone thinks.

There's only been 2 episodes dubbed in english, but 150 currently released in Japan. I didnt like the dub very much though.
Also, the move you are referring to in the first episode is "Shadow Replication" (or "Kage Bushin" to all of us Narutards :P) but in the first episode, it's called "Mass Shadow Replication" (or "Tajuu Kage Bushin"). It is a useful trick you'll see him use over..and over...and over. Never gets old though.
For those of you who have yet to see the show, you're in for a real treat. I have a feeling this is going to be the next big anime to hit america..

I believe they called it the "Shadow Clone jutsu" in the CN dub. But still pretty close. I don't think anyone really has any idea how many eps they plan on doing. I just hope they skip that whole story arc after ep 136. That arc is rather tame in comparison as to what came before it. And as I understand it, its a filler arc to keep the anime behind the manga so they don't run out of material for the show. Regardless, this is the next DBZ/Gundam/Yu-gi-oh combined. Naruto may be poised to explode once kids here get a hold of it.

If I'm not mistaken... I think the first 52 episodes of Naruto was licensed.
I've watched up to episode 150 of Naruto and is one awesome series. The music, to the fight scenes, to the extremely funny humour and in depth characters... it's probably THE best anime series that I've watched.
I've seen the first dubbed episode, and I'm not too happy with the english voices, I still prefer the Japanese voices though, especially Naruto's voice. It's too unique to dub, and then there's his favourite word "dattebayo" that he uses at the end of nearly every sentence. It doesn't have a particular meaning or English translation but kinda emphasises what he's trying to say, and in a way it suites his character, afterall he's trying to prove himself and seeks recognition.
Another problem I have is why mix Japanese with English? I just don't get it... words like sensei, senpai, jutsu etc. I think it would've been better had it been "Shadow Clone Technique" instead of using "jutsu". This applies to most dubbed anime and not just Naruto.
In the end though, I think Naruto will be the next best anime to hit the US. It far surpasses DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokémon in every conceivable aspect... in my opinion though. I'm not gonna spoil or anything like that, but you guys just watch Naruto, you'll be blown away after episode 20 or so and that's only a teaser compared to what'll happen later on in the series ;).

Chino: You should have already known that after episode 136 that the story was gonna go downhill a bit. After all, that was probably the peak of the series until now by far. They just kept building and building. While watching that I thought "Man, there is nothing in the show that can compare to this. It's gonna get real boring after this fight."

While they do have quite a bit in common, they're not created by the same people.
One definate similarity between the two shows is the voice actor for Uchiha Sasuke (Naruto) and Ishida Uryuu (Bleach), share the same voice actor Sugiyama Noriaki.
Here's a little extra info:
Bleach
Creator
Taito Kubo
Director
Abe Noriyuki
Naruto
Creator
Kishimoto Masashi
Director
Date Hayato
The character designs are also done by different people.
Bleach
Kudo Masashi
Naruto
Suzuki Hirofumi
Nishio Tetsuya
But both anime series are produced by the same company... Studio Pierrot.
I hope this answers your question. By the way this information was gathered from www.animenewsnetwork.com

But they shoulda have at least made it worth watching ya know. Though the story does continue in a strange sorta way, it just isnt fulfilling. I dunno. Maybe I'm asking too much. But from what I hear from my buddy, theres a time shift in the manga. Hence, the latest story arc...
