Subject: Nova possible futures?
Started on: January 9, 2008 - 5:32:25 PM

What ever happen to Nova Satori? According to the infopedia she is still alive. Hopefully HG dosen't forget about her or giver some off screen death. If we see her in the RTSC this is my guess on her possible futures.

Option 1: she left with Dana and co. Joined the REF and became a member of Reinhardt staff as part of the Intel division. She then joins Grant for the search for the SDF-3 and her friends.

Option 2: Nova stayed behind and disappeared into the cloak and dagger underworld. When the REF liberated the Earth from the Invid. They find it has a shadow "organization" filling the power vacuum created by the Invid when they left. Nothing gets done unless this new "organization" lead by Nova with Sue Grahm as her second in command says so. Who interesting enough, the infopedia doesnt come out and say Sue's dead. It just says she M.I.A. hmm.

Option 3: Nova is given command of whats left of Ghost Squadron after Edwards death. Thus becoming a major wild card in the RTSC. Being neither hero nor villainess, just being Nova.

These are my little ideas. What the forums? ^-^

she ever left Earth. Also hard to believe she'd just hunker down when the Invid arrived.

You mean Nova and Dennis Brown didn't run off somewhere to be with each other?

Seriously though, isn't there something in one of the novels that says she formed her own intel or resistance group (or something like that) after the war? I haven't read the secondary canon novels, but I remember something about that being mentioned in one of RobotechMaster's podcasts.

Some how I get the feeling that Nova had no family or any ties to Earth after the 2nd RW.

Yes, you're right. Mention of this was made toward the end of The End of the Circle.

Being a former GMP, I think Nova will have very little future with the REF if she went to space. I'm thinking that she stayed on Earth and either retired from GMP and reinvented herself or simply retired altogether from military life. My reason is that GMP and Southern Cross officers are probably looked down upon after the second Robotech War. I think the REF thinks of the GMP and Southern Cross army as mostly ineffective and weak due to inside politics. Because Nova, Dennis, and I suspect even Fredericks (despite his creepy voice) were privy to a lot of the drama between Leonard and Emerson, they would do well to distance herself from being associated with the Southern Cross or GMP upper echelon.

She reunited with her true love Captain Komodo. Heaven is where they are. Now they are finally home

Interesting. I never imagine how the REF would think about the ASC. Nova I would guess, made alot of enimes on Earth. However I do remeber reading in the novels that she did stay behind.

Wherever she is, you know she's kicking butt.

If it ain't in the Robotech show itself... It didn't neccessarily happen.

one of the other books to be printed after the first eighteen, stated that Nova ran the reinstated RDF group reformed from GMP and former ASC soldiers. Also that she linked up with Col. Wolff and helped him set up shop before his misguided use of trading soldiers for protoculture. After that point it was stated she went underground to help coordinate strikes for other resistance groups. But then there are fansites that disagree or created similiar stories of varying ends.
