I don't know what HG is going to do, but I fully expect they will do something grand. Hopefully something like they did back in '05. Still, I know for sure that fans are making plans of their own for a big get together. Either way, there will be some good stuff going on in '10.
The only thing I know for sure is they guys over at Robotechx.com are planning a big party. MEMO1DOMINION can give you more info on that. He's pretty much the instigator. | |

OK...JUST A LITTLE.
BEEN TALKING TO PEOPLE AT THE ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER. MATTER OF FACT WILL MEET THEM SOMETIME EARLY THIS MONTH. JUST TO SEE WHAT VIABLE DATES AND COST WOULD BE FOR 2010.
PRODUCTION OF THE LIVE ACTION WOULD BE IN FULL FORCE BY THEN AND WOULD BE NICE TO BRING IN ANY ACTORS OF THE NEW RLAM AND OF THE OLD SERIES TOGETHER. VOICE ACTORS OF THE 80S WITH THE CURRENT LIVE ACTION ACTORS. AND SEE IF WB WOULD LET US PUT OUT CLIPS OR PICS UP OF THEIR PRODUCTION.
ANOTHER VENUE I BEEN LOOKING AT IS IN PASADENA.
NOT SURE OF CALLING IT ROBOCON. BUT MIGHT GO WITH FULL ROBOTECH NAME.
BUT THAT'S IN THE FUTURE.

I had a total blast at AnimeExpo 2005 when the 20th Anniversary of Robotech brought in a record number of voice actors...not to mention the Michael Bradley concert! 
MEMO1DOMINION, or any other "fellow instigator" (maybe Kevin McKeever?), know if anything of that caliber going to be happening next year? I need to start booking my trip as soon as the mileage award seats open (gotta book about a year in advance, because I'm traveling from Hawaii, and those seats go FAST!), so if anyone has anymore information on whether Robocon will be with the 'Expo again or on its own? And if so, dates? (P.S. I WOULD completely DITCH AnimeExpo to come out to Robocon if they weren't simultaneously held!)

I AM WORKING WITH OTHER FANS IN THE TRI CITY AREA, SAN FRANSISCO, SAN JOSE, OAKLAND TO NOT ONLY HAVE A GOOD PRESENTATION AT THE CON, AND SPECIAL INVITATION FROM THE OWNER OF THE CON TO COME BACK TO SET UP A ROBOTECH BOOTH, BUT ALSO A GET TOGETHER FOR THE LOCAL FANS..
COMIC CON I AM TRYING TO HAVE A FAN PANEL FOR ROBOTECHX TO HAVE FAN FILM AND CREATIVE IDEAS AWARDS.
THINKING OF GOING TO ST. LOIS AS WELL..
