I think few people use Netflix streaming because you have to pay for it and it's limitted anime collection. We are Otaku and Fujoshi. Places like Hulu and and Crunchyroll provide us better access to anime while being free of charge. I might suggest you include Hulu and Crunchyroll in the poll and see how many of us actually use THOSE services. I think you'll be surprised. After all, anime is an expensive hobby and many of us don't have a lot of money so we take advantage ofthe free services instead. | |

When Netflix first started streaming it was all under the same plan with the discs. When they split the plans and raised the price people did two things. They either quit outright in rage, or look at plans, shrug, comment its still cheaper than a months video store rentals, and keep both. | |

But as a collector, there is something to be said of owning physical copies of your favorite shows and movies.
I know that web streaming of videos and having digital copies are the future. But sometimes the creative and artistic packaging adds value to the product as much as the content of the story.

I'm surprised with the results as well. I would think many people here watch "regular" entertainment and stream like "regular" people but perhaps not. And most have a stupid phone like I do. Wow! My opinions were with the strongest number of people. Hmph! | |
