DESCRIPTION:
Kenneth Olson began his life long involvement with Robotech when the Codename: Robotech television special first aired in Southern California back in 1985. His most treasured memories from junior high school included rushing home to view the latest episode and then debating with his friends on predictions for the show the next day. His appreciation for the depth and complexity of the Robotech universe only increased which the release of the comics and RPG game. He has been involved in the online world of Robotech fandom ever since.
In 1999, Kenneth defended his Ph.D. at the Nuclear Engineering Department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he developed a time-dependent integral transport model for potential use in inertial confinement of fusion devices. He published several papers on his thesis work along with research on Xenon poisoning in the Accelerated Transmutation of Waste (ATW) while at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Kenneth is currently a staff member of the Lincoln Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
