DESCRIPTION:
Matt Willis has been a taco slinger, telemarketer and most recently, an
industrial worker. Presently an artist on the ROBOTECH: Reference Guide, Mr.
Willis has been developing his 3D rendering and animation skills. Having
perhaps too many hobbies, Matt tries actively to find time for his artwork,
music, web page, and model building. He resides in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Willis's first works of art date back to 1985 when Robotech first aired.
Interested artistically in vehicles than the characters, Matt continued to
sketch various Robotech mecha through high school and beyond. Most recently,
using CINEMA 4D GO, Matt has begun creating a large body of 3-D Robotech art
for use on the ROBOTECH: Reference Guide.
On top of his artistic interests, Matt is a bagpiper in the Silver Thistle
Pipe and Drum band of Austin, Texas. Mr. Willis is also proficient with many
other instruments, including bass guitar, flute and the penny whistle.
