Vincent E. McHenry first got into Robotech at the age of 12 when a friend introduced him to the Robotech role-playing games. He first saw the series when it ran on the Sci Fi Channel in the early 1990's. He was a hardcore gamer and took his love of Robotech into the Marine Corps where he shared it with his fellow Marines.
In 2001, Vincent joined Robotech.com and started gaming with with other website members in the Southern California area. At Robocon 20 in 2005, he became one of the founding members of the 241st, a group of dedicated Robotech fans that gather to attend Anime Expo every year from as far away as Denmark.
