L.A. Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention celebrates Robotech Day this December!

Thanks to all the awesome Robotech fans who made the convention a huge success this Sunday! For all of you who weren't able to make it out to Los Angeles, we'll be posting an article about the convention in a few days!

UPDATE FOR 2002.12.14

For those of you who aren't able to come to the LA Comic Book and Scifi Convention this December, we're going to be taking interview questions from all Robotech.com members! Tommy Yune, Harmony Gold Creative Director, Iona Morris, the voice of Claudia Grant, Tony Oliver, the voice of Rick Hunter, Dan Woren, the voice of Roy Fokker, and Michael Bradley, the singing voice of Yellow Dancer will all be at the Shrine this Sunday for a panel on Robotech, and will be fielding questions from attendees. During the panel, we'll be taking questions from Robotech.com members, submitting them to the guests of honor and will post the responses on Robotech.com next week!

Get the word out to your friends and neighbors! JPEG and PDF versions of the convention flyers are available in the Files And Downloads Section of the Robotech Gallery! These flyers are printable on letter size paper, and both front and back sides are available for making double-sided flyers!

On December 15, 2002, the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention will be celebrating Robotech!

December will mark the debut of the new Robotech comic book series from Wildstorm Productions. Appearing at the Convention to talk about past, current and future Robotech projects will be Tommy Yune, Robotech Creative Director and co-writer/artist of the new Robotech comics from Wildstorm Productions! Tommy Yune will also provide updates on other Robotech projects.

Also appearing will be veteran Robotech voice actors Dan Woren, the voice of "Roy Fokker" and Tony Oliver, the voice of "Rick Hunter." As a special guest, singer, composer and songwriter Michael Bradley will be appearing to talk about the music of Robotech! Doors open at 10AM and the Robotech panel will be held at 1PM, so make sure to come early!

As if that weren't enough, the Convention will also be giving away all sorts of Robotech freebies, including the new Robotech comics by Wildstorm, animation cels, toys, trading cards and videogames!

For information on ticketing, head on over to the LA Comic Book and Sci-Fi Con website! Tickets are $5.50 each, and fans who buy special early admission tickets will be let in half an hour early to get first dibs on Robotech giveaways!

Taking place at the world famous Shrine Auditorium Expo Center, the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention has been a monthly event for over the past 20 years and features "the largest dealer's room on the West Coast."

Michael Bradley, the singing voice of Yellow Dancer, will also be there for the fans!
The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention takes place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Center in Los Angeles, California.
