The Robotech Convention Tour makes annual stop at Anime Expo this weekend for the “convention within a convention,” Robocon 20! Join us as fans from all over the world descend on Anaheim, CA for 4 days of Robotech and anime excitement! Here is a list of some of the events that will take place at the convention this weekend:
SATURDAY JULY 2nd
THE LOST ROBOTECH PANEL
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Saturday
Live Programming 4 (LP4)
Many fans long wondered what happened to Robotech II: The Sentinels, Robotech: The Untold Story and Robotech: 3000. Here you will find out what really happened and why.
ROBOTECH DOCUMENTARY FILMING
Noon - 3:00 PM Saturday
Exhibit Hall, Toynami / Robotech Booth
Have you always wanted to tell the world your love of Robotech? Do you have an interesting story about being a fan? Do you want the world to see how much work you put into your Robotech costume? As part of the marketing drive leading up to release of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, we're calling on fans to be interviewed for a Robotech Documentary! To participate, those over 18 must sign a release form allowing us to film you. Those under 18 must have a release form signed by your parent or legal guardian (parent or legal guardian must be present) to be filmed.

5:15 PM - 6:45 PM Saturday

At the end of the original Robotech series Scott Bernard begins the search for Admiral Rick Hunter and prepares for a rendezvous with destiny. For 20 years Robotech fans have wondered what happened next. Now this is your chance to be the first to take a look at Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, with a special look at how an animated program is created!

20 years ago a groundbreaking animated program called Robotech debuted on American television, forever changing the way we look at animation. Join Tom Bateman and the original cast and crew as they take a professional and personal look back at the making of Robotech. Our Robotech programming concludes with a live performance by the singing voice of Yellow Dancer! Michael Bradley and the RK Project band will be performing new remixed versions of Robotech songs along with some classic rock-and-roll hits!

ROBOTECH BOOTH
Robotech fans can check out the displays of the latest Robotech merchandise by Toynami and Harmony Gold by visiting the Robotech Booth in the exhibit hall. This will be your chance to get cool giveaway items, purchase a Robocon 20 program book and pick up some cool free stuff as well.
REGISTRATION FOR ROBOCON
To allow the maximum number of fans to attend the above events all you need to due is a valid 2005 registration for Anime Expo. If you have a valid 2005 badge for Anime Expo, then you're admitted to all Robotech panels, including the Yellow Dancer concert!
