Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles will make its Israeli premiere at the ICON Film Festival this weekend in Tel Aviv! Fans from across Israel can enjoy the film on the big screen at the city's first art house cinema, the beautiful Tel Aviv Cinematheque!


Festival Background:

ICON is highly respected in Israel, receiving widespread and positive media coverage and has an excellent reputation amongst the SF and fantasy communities, the Israeli literature community, movie fans and the general public. Testament to this fact is ICON’s ever-growing attendance, with roughly 20,000 visitors during the 6-day run of Icon 2006.

Alongside the guest of honor and other special guests, ICON hosts Israeli genre artists for panel discussions and workshops; presents expert lecturers in various academic, creative and fandom fields and welcomes a large number of role players that experience a variety of systems and styles of play; The ICON International Fantastic Film Festival features a wide and diverse international selection and the Icon experience as a whole offers a myriad of activities that cater to the devout fan as well as to the general public.

Tickets can be purchased from the box office for 35 NIS (6 USD) or 25 NIS (5 USD) at a special "Icon Club" price (registration required) during the following hours:

- Sunday-Thursday: 4pm-10pm
- Friday: 10am - 2pm, 9pm - midnight
- Saturday: noon-midnight
