UPDATE – 2/17/09: Nearly 2,000 fans from across the San Francisco made their way to the Cathedral Hill Hotel for Animation On Display. Robotech fans received special prizes at the Robotech panel hosted by Harmony Gold Marketing Corrdinator Kevin McKeever and were able to see anime bloopers provided by Robotech ADR Director/Voice Actor Richard Epcar.

The Robotech Convention Tour makes it first Bay Area stop of 2009 at Animation On Display in San Francisco on February 14th and 15th. Anime On Demand has invited marketing coordinator Kevin McKeever and Robotech voice director/actor Richard Epcar for a weekend full of panels, giveaways and screenings!

DISCOUNTED HOTEL RATES:

Animation On Display 2009 is pleased to announce that we have worked out an improved discount rate with the Cathedral Hill Hotel. The nightly room rates are:

$89 – Single Standard
$89 – Double Standard
$89 – Triple Standard
$89 – Quad Standard

To take advantage of these special rates you must book your room before January 14, 2009. After this date, the discounted rate will no longer be guaranteed.


PARKING:

The day parking rate for attendees commuting to the convention is $5 for up to 4 hours, or $8 for the entire day. To be eligible for this discounted rate, please validate your ticket at AOD's registration table (not hotel registration) in the main mezzanine area, the same place where you get your convention badge. When Registration is not open, tickets can be validated at Convention Operations in room 373. There are no in-and-out-privileges for attendees not staying at the hotel.

The parking rate for attendees staying at the hotel is $20 per day, with unlimited in-and-out privileges. There is also a limited amount of street parking (both metered and non-metered) in the vicinity of the hotel. Wherever you choose to park, please exercise discretion and keep valuable items out of sight or take them with you. The hotel and convention are not liable for missing, stolen, or lost items.


REGISTRATION RATES:

You can pre-register online for the full weekend of Anime On Demand 2009 for $30 until February 1st, 2009.

Those who have not pre-registered for AOD by February 1st can do so at the door at the following rates:
$35 – Full weekend
$20 – One day only
