The Federation for the Promotion of Animation in association with Harmony Gold are pleased to announce that the 2010 Robotech Convention Tour will kick off at Animation On Display, San Francisco (AODSF) during the final weekend of January! Animation On Display, which will be held at the Hotel Kabuki in the heart of San Francisco's Japantown, has invited Robotech's original producer Carl Macek, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles director Tommy Yune, and actor Tony Oliver (the voice of Rick Hunter) for a weekend full of screenings, panels, workshops and giveaways!
Carl, Tommy and Tony are excited to welcome all of our fans at the only Bay Area stop of the 2010 Robotech Convention Tour!
EVENT LOCATION:
Animation On Display 2010 will be held at the Hotel Kabuki on January 30th - 31st in the heart of San Francisco's Japantown. Please contact the hotel to inquire about any rooms that may still be available at the discounted convention rate.

CODENAME: ROBOTECH SCREENING

Join us as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Robotech's original broadcast premiere with a special screening of the rarely seen pilot Codename: Robotech with live commentary by producer Carl Macek. If you can't make this screening because of the comic & manga workshop, there will be another screening the next day.
COMIC & MANGA PRODUCTION WORKSHOP

Tommy Yune, a veteran of hit comic series such as Speed Racer, Racer X, Robotech, and Danger Girl: Kamikaze, covers modern production techniques of the industry and new options available to hopeful comic creators.
