Harmony Gold in association with ToyFusion are pleased to announce that the 2010 Robotech Convention Tour will be at SacAnime during the weekend of September 3rd to 5th. SacAnime is the premiere anime convention in Sacramento, the state capital of California.
Join an all-star lineup of Robotech guests, including both the English and Japanese actresses behind the voice of Lynn Minmei in Robotech and Lynn Minmay in Macross, along with Steve Yun, the webmaster of Robotech.com and co-writer of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Remember when you were in elementary school and you argued with your friends about whether Voltron or Optimus Prime would win in a fight? Well, prepare for the ultimate in nerdy panels: Harmony Gold's Steve Yun hosts a tournament where panelists and attendees argue and vote over which robots would win in a fight. Sixteen robots will enter the arena, but only one will emerge as the victor!

Meet the voice actresses for Minmei and Minmay! Rebecca Forstadt, the voice of Minmei in Robotech, and Mari Iijima, the voice of Minmay in Macross will be holding a Q&A panel together!
ROBOTECH: PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE

Join Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles writer Steve Yun as he covers the first quarter century of the animated series that introduced a generation to anime, and discusses upcoming new releases in the wake of the announcement of the live action feature film. We will also remember Carl Macek, the original producer of Robotech who started this whole phenomenon.

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Hotel Lobby
Rebecca Forstadt, the voice of Minmei in Robotech, and Mari Iijima, the voice of Minmay in Macross will be signing autographs in the hotel lobby from 4 to 5 PM! Here's your chance to meet them in person! Because this is concurrent with the Robotech panel, there will also be a second Robotech panel on Sunday.
